Purchased in 2004 for $484,000, this (2 & 1) La Crescenta home was briefly back on the market in 2006 with an asking price of $639,000.  It didn’t sell and is now a bank foreclosure at $488,900.  At the time of foreclosure the homeowner owed $546,000 for the home he paid $484,000! 

These foreclosures continue to appear to be simply "business decisions":   "I owe more than my home is worth and I am going to "walk away"".
